Nagan Raya Regency in Aceh launched the Simpadu Nara app so its 222 villages can apply for Village Fund disbursement online, without delivering paper files to district or regency offices.

SUKA MAKMUE — The Nagan Raya Regency Government in Aceh has launched Simpadu Nara, an integrated self-service information system for village fund applications. The launch was held by the regency’s Village Community Empowerment, Population Control and Women’s Empowerment Office (DPMGP4) at its Sasana Praja Hall in the Suka Makmue government complex on Wednesday, 4 November 2026.

The event was attended by village heads (keuchik), village finance officers, the village government association Apdesi and village facilitators.

No More Delivering Paper Files

DPMGP4 head Said Mudhar said the app is designed to make Village Fund (Dana Desa) disbursement applications easier and faster for the regency’s 222 villages (gampong). “Village governments only need to upload the required documents through the app, so they no longer have to bring paper files to the relevant offices,” he said, as quoted by Serambinews.

Applications move in stages: documents uploaded by village governments are first verified by the district (kecamatan) office before being processed further. Officials say this makes the process easier, more practical, effective and efficient.

A Homegrown, Copyrighted Innovation

Nagan Raya Regent Dr. Teuku Raja Keumangan, represented by Second Assistant to the Regional Secretary Bustami, said Simpadu Nara is a local innovation whose copyright has been registered with the Ministry of Law. “Applying this app is part of Nagan Raya’s commitment to transparent, orderly and accountable village governance,” he said.

He hopes village administrative services will become more modern and professional. “This innovation is not just a shift from manual to digital, but an important step toward village governments that are more open, efficient and service-oriented,” Bustami said.
